The present invention relates to an apparatus to charge raw materials, and a method to remove extraneous matter thereof. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a raw materials supply unit to supply raw materials; and a charging chute to convey the raw materials supplied from the raw materials supply unit to a storage unit. The charging chute has a conveying path to convey the raw materials supplied from the raw materials supply unit to the storage unit, and a length of at least a part of it is able to be changed. The present invention is able to suppress or prevent a formation of extraneous matter on the conveying path for raw materials, and is able to easily remove the extraneous matter.
