The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to charge raw materials which forms an air film on a surface of a charging chute to charge raw materials to sinter into a sintering bogie to induce a vertical segregation of the raw materials for sintering loaded into the sintering bogie. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus to charge raw materials charges raw materials to sinter into a sintering bogie, comprising: a raw materials supply unit to supply raw materials to sinter; and a plate-shaped charging chute placed on a bottom of the raw materials supply unit to be inclined, and to charge the raw materials supplied from the raw materials supply unit into the sintering bogie. The charging chute has air sprayed from the inside through a surface of the top to form an air film on the top surface of the charging chute.
