The present invention relates to a bulb socket having an improved holding force, and more particularly, to a bulb socket having an improved holding force that maintains a firm fixed state without being moved when a terminal is inserted into the bulb socket to prevent the terminal from being demounted even when the terminal is pulled by a strong force. The bulb socket having a terminal insertion hole and a step in which a stop step of a terminal is stopped on one surface of the terminal insertion hole, wherein the terminal insertion hole has a movement preventing step that holds a tip end of the terminal inserted into the terminal insertion hole to prevent shaking of the terminal, and a surface of the step in contact with the stop step is inclined by an angle of 90° or less with respect to the insertion direction of the terminal. In the bulb socket having an improved holding force according to the present invention, the movement of the inserted terminal is prevented by the movement preventing step so that the stop step is firmly stopped by the step, and because the step of the socket and a distal end of the stop step of the terminal are formed to be slanted, the stop step is moved deeply into a corner of the step to maintain a firm holding state when the terminal is pulled. |
