PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a penetration power characteristic and a power extinction ratio that used to be impossible to achieve in a terahertz wave band.SOLUTION: A plurality of grid plates 20 having a slender grid section formed between one end and the other end are formed by providing a notch section of a rectangular metal thin plate therebetween. A grid plate laminate 2a is configured by laminating the grid plates 20 such that each grid section faces via a predetermined interval. Thereby, a spacer 21 is inserted between one ends and between other ends of adjacent grid plates 20, allowing a grid section to configure parallel plates. The grid plate laminate 2a configuring the parallel plate operates as the polarizer of a terahertz wave band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
