This dielectric material (1) for transducers is produced from a composition comprising metal oxide particles having a hydroxyl group, a rubber polymer having a functional group capable of reacting with an epoxy group, a bisphenol type epoxy resin having an epoxy group at both ends, and a crosslinking agent. In the dielectric material (1) for transducers, the metal oxide particles (12) are bound to the rubber polymer (10) via the bisphenol type epoxy resin (11). The transducer (2) comprises a dielectric layer (20) including the dielectric material (1) for transducers, and a plurality of electrodes (21a, 21b) disposed across the dielectric layer (20).
