The present invention relates to a method for cleaning a crude oil tank by water and a system thereof, which remove, by using water, sludge accumulated and stuck in the crude oil tank for temporarily storing crude oil before being refined, and the method comprises: a wash water injection step of injecting wash water into the crude oil tank; a high-pressure water ejecting step of ejecting high-pressure water to the lower part of the crude oil tank such that the sludge is mixed into the wash water; and a mixed water discharging step of discharging, to the outside, mixed water in which the wash water and the sludge are mixed. |
