<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology achieving both power saving property of electronic equipment such as a recording device and life management of a relay. <P>SOLUTION: A recording device 1 having a preset service life P includes: a relay 6 for switching connection between a +24 V power source 8 and an engine control part 14 or a recording head 15 and having a preset operation limit frequency L; and a power source control part 5 for controlling the relay 6. The power source control part 5 controls electric power supply to the engine control part 14 and the recording head 15 after recording processing on the basis of a residual average operating interval time Tr calculated from a residual usable prediction time of the recording device 1 and a residual usable prediction frequency of the relay 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
