The apparatus has a locking/unlocking control unit (6) for controlling locking/unlocking of a lid relative to a vessel. The control unit is movably mounted on the lid between a deployed position corresponding to unlocking of the lid in which the control unit is designed to be manually gripped to handle the lid and a retracted position corresponding to locking of the lid in which the control unit is conceived to be difficult to grip than in the deployed position.
