The present invention relates to a device for preparing a foamed beverage (1) from a soluble product in the form of a powder or granules. The invention also relates to a machine provided with such a device. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the foamed beverage (16) prepared. The device (1) includes a system for producing hot water (2), a water-ejection system (7) ejecting fine jets (27) of hot water and a receptacle (13) in which said product is placed. The receptacle and the water-ejection system are arranged relative to one another such that the fine jets of water directly impact the product while blending air into said product during the solubilisation thereof, so as to form said foamed beverage. According to the invention, the receptacle comprises a screen (18) which includes pores configured to hold the product prior to the solubilisation thereof and to allow the foamed beverage to pass therethrough while calibrating the foam. In addition, the device includes a vessel (20) arranged inside the receptacle (13, 13') above the screen (18), the vessel including a bottom wall (20a) which comprises at least one opening (21) arranged above said screen. |
