<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which: even if a user is requested to perform a predetermined confirmation in the middle of a shut-down processing with a conventional method, the total number of processes necessary for the shut-down processing before and after the request is not reduced; and therefore, a time required for the shut-down processing cannot be substantially reduced. <P>SOLUTION: Upon reception of a request for shut-down of an external power, a power interruption device determines if a predetermined load is in operation. The predetermined load is determined to be in operation, the power interruption device requests a stop of supplying power to the predetermined load. Accordingly, the power interruption device does not have to request a stop of operation to a load that has not been in operation; and therefore, a time required for shut-down can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
