<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technique capable of reducing degradation in performance and memory consumption resulting from integration determination while suppressing banding caused by such image processing that refers peripheral pixels even in the case that a photograph is divided into many images. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device has: means of acquiring document data including a plurality of image objects; means of generating a raster image for the acquired document data; means of generating an object flag image representing whether or not each pixel of the generated raster image indicates an image object by using flags; means of determining a photograph region on the raster image on the basis of the generated object flag image; means of generating a correction parameter for correcting a pixel value for a pixel group on the raster image corresponding to the determined photograph region; and means of correcting the pixel value by using the generated correction parameter for the pixel group on the raster image corresponding to the photograph region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
