Composition, useful on plants, preferably as concentrate, coating agents or spraying agent, comprises at least an alkali metal salt or alkaline earth metal salt, a vitamin E compound, a solvent and optionally water. An independent claim is included for preparing the composition comprising dissolving the vitamin E compound in the solvent and mixing the obtained solution with the alkali metal or the alkaline earth metal salt and optionally water.
