The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for improving the nonlinearity of a power amplifier in a wireless communication system. A transmitting device in the wireless communication system includes a transceiver and an amplifier which amplifies a signal from the transceiver. The transceiver decreases the power of the signal by an amount corresponding to the power, when the power of the signal inputted to the transceiver is lower than a reference value. The present invention includes the above-mentioned embodiment and other embodiments.
