Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for secure communication in a multiple antenna system. The method for secure communication in a multiple antenna system provided by the present invention may include the following steps: initializing a message signal and a jamming signal in a zero matrix; calculating a first covariance matrix for maximizing a secret transmission rate; calculating the message signal by using the first covariance matrix; calculating a second covariance matrix for maximizing the secret transmission rate; calculating the jamming signal by using the first covariance matrix; and calculating the secret transmission rate at which a message can be transmitted while maintaining security during wiretapping by using the message signal and the jamming signal.
