<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of stably performing a clutch operation by lessening influence of inertia force by switching output characteristics in a clutch mode and a drill mode without performing a specific operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the power tool 1 having a motor 3, a housing 2, a mechanical clutch mechanism 40 for transmitting or blocking drive force of the motor 3, a dial 5 for setting operation torque of the clutch mechanism 40, and a chuck 12 rotated with output of the clutch mechanism 40, output torque of the motor 3 is changed in response to the operation torque set by the dial 5. Therefore, a Hall element 26 is arranged at a housing 2 side, a magnet 27 is fixed at a dial 5 side, and drive control of the motor 3 is changed by detecting approaching and separation between the magnet 27 and the Hall element 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
