A wire individualizing device (106) includes a fixed plate (114) and a movable plate (146) to define a wire funnel (112) and a wire channel (118) therebetween. The movable plate may be moved with respect to the fixed plate to control a width (156) of the wire channel. The wire funnel accommodates a wire bundle (104) including a plurality of wires (102). The wire channel is located below the wire funnel, and accommodates the wires through an opening (160) in the wire channel from the wire funnel. The wire channel guides the wires to an acquisition section (122) below a bottom opening (162) of the wire channel one by one. A wire feeding member (124) below the bottom opening of the wire channel has a slot (126) that accommodates the wire. The wire feeding member moves with respect to the fixed plate and the movable plate to separate the wire in the slot from the wire bundle. |
