The present invention relates to a grain sorting apparatus which sorts out grains by size or separates foreign substances such as empty grain from the grain. More specifically, the present invention relates to a grain sorting apparatus capable of sorting out grain in a quick and efficient way without causing damage to the grain, by allowing the grain to be sorted out to pass through a gap between a wire rod of a plurality of coil springs. To this end, the grain sorting apparatus of the present invention comprises: at least one cylindrical coil spring having an inlet and an outlet; a grain sorting barrel including a separation unit uniformly separating the gap of the wire rods of the coil springs in correspondence with the diameter of the grain to be selected; and a rotator rotating in a forwarding direction of the coil spring wound in the grain sorting barrel so as to transport the grain inside the grain sorting barrel. |
