Provided is a water treatment method for a boiler having an economizer, whereby effects for suppressing corrosion in non-concentrated parts such as a water supply line or an economizer are obtained, and whereby scale adhesion can be prevented in concentrated parts such as a boiler can. A water treatment method for a boiler having an economizer made partially or entirely of carbon steel, the method characterized by adding an alkali component and a silica component to a water supply fed to the economizer so that the P-alkalinity in the water supply is 20-100 mg CaCO3/L and the silica concentration is 10-100 mg SiO2/L. |
