A method of producing a coated substrate

Production (M1) of a coated substrate involves: i) forming a free flowing curtain comprising a first and second component capable of reacting with each other, and ii) contacting the curtain with a continuous web substrate. An independent claim is also included for producing (M2) a coated substrate involving: (1) forming a free flowing curtain (where the curtain has at least one component capable of reacting with itself or another compound); and (2) contacting the curtain with a continous web substrate (where at least one component of the curtain begins reacting during the coating process and is completely reacted before the coating process is complete.
