The present invention relates to a CO gas reformer capable of rapid driving and flexible temperature control, and a method for preparing CO gas using the same. The CO gas reformer includes: a reactor having an outer barrel, an inner barrel disposed inside the outer barrel, a catalyst layer for preparing synthesis gas disposed between the outer barrel and the inner barrel, and a diffusion unit and disposed at the bottom of the inner barrel; a head closing the top of the outer barrel and having a power supply portion and a first raw material inlet at the exterior part thereof; a heat exchanger including a tube at least partially disposed inside the catalyst layer and coupled to the top of the inner barrel while passing through the head longitudinally, at least one line of reactant stovepipes disposed in the tube longitudinally, a second material inlet formed at the bottom of the heat exchanger, a zigzag plate communicated with the second material inlet and extended to the bottom of the tube in a zigzag form, a reactant discharge port formed at either side or both sides of the tube to discharge the heat exchanged reactant, and a product outlet formed at the top of the tube; an electric heater surrounding the tube at the inner part of the outer barrel and receiving power from the power supply portion; a partial oxidation catalyst layer disposed at the lower part of the electric heater; and a thermocouple disposed at the exterior part of the outer barrel to detect the inside temperature. |
