PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anomaly detection device for an A/D converter which is more reliable.SOLUTION: An ECU 1 includes an anomaly determination section 21 into which A/D conversion results of A/D conversion of the same analog signal from a sensor 3 in two A/D converters 5, 15 are input, and the anomaly determination section 21 compares the two input A/D conversion results to determine whether or not to assert an A/D anomaly state in which there is an anomaly in either of the A/D converters 5, 15. The ECU 1 further includes, as means for checking whether or not the anomaly determination section 21 functions correctly, a data selection section 23 and an anomaly determination guarantee section 25 for inputting NG data with which the anomaly determination section 21 should assert the A/D anomaly state, in place of the A/D conversion result of one A/D converter 5, into the anomaly determination section 21, and checking whether or not the anomaly determination section 21 asserts the A/D anomaly state. This can guarantee that the anomaly determination section 21 is normal. |
