The invention relates to a method for consolidating a perform (12) at least in some regions in order to produce a molded part in a mold (10), said perform (12) comprising a plurality of flat fiber-reinforced mats (14) with a thermoplastic matrix which at least partly surrounds the fibers, and the mold (10) has at least one molding surface (22, 38). The method has the following steps: (A) placing the perform (12) on at least one molding surface (22, 38) of the mold (10) so as to lie flatly thereon, and (B) consolidating the perform (12) at least in some regions by pressing at least one placed region (32) of the perform (12) against the molding surface (22, 38), said placed region (32) being pressed against the molding surface (22, 38) by applying a contact pressure onto the region (32), wherein the contact pressure is produced by injecting injectable plastic material (35) onto the region (32). |
