PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamellar catalyst layer, a film-electrode assembly and an electrochemical cell which enable the increase of the efficiency of use of a catalyst material and the enhancement of the durability.SOLUTION: A lamellar catalyst layer has a layered structure, and is arranged by laminating: sheet-like units of catalyst having an average thickness of 4-30 nm; and cavity layers each arranged between and partially or totally surrounded by the sheet-like units of catalyst and having an average thickness of 7-500 nm and cavities. |
