PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a device for measuring a molding limit in order to determine a molding limit line of a heated test material without depending on Nakajima method or Marciniak method.SOLUTION: A molding limit measuring method has a test material heating step of heating the test material. Concerning press molding, in the heated test material, a low-temperature part in contact with a metal mold and a high-temperature part out of contact with the metal mold exist adjacently, and press molding is performed so that necking or crack is generated in the test material 3 on a high-temperature part near the boundary between both parts. |
