Disclosed is an illegal parking monitoring system for monitoring a vehicle parked in an illegal parking area. To this end, an illegal parking monitoring system includes: a fixed camera for obtaining a monitoring image for a monitoring area; a monitoring camera for capturing a license plate of a vehicle entered a parking enforcement section included in the monitoring area to generate an evidence image; a communication terminal including a control unit which is connected to the fixed and monitoring cameras, analyzes the monitoring image obtained with the fixed camera to detect a vehicle parked in the illegal parking area, controls the monitoring camera for enabling the evidence image of the parked vehicle to be collected, and transmits the evidence image to the outside; and an integrated control server connected to the communication terminal through a communication network to store the evidence image received from the communication terminal. According to the present invention, a suspected vehicle list can be formed on the basis of fragmentary information for the suspected vehicles and movements of vehicles included in the suspected vehicle list can be efficiently monitored. |
