PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which random numbers are predictable when a generation method of the random numbers is leaked to a third party because there is certain regularity in pseudo-random numbers.SOLUTION: A random number generation device in which a plurality of electronic control devices transmit a frame including an identifier assigned to each electronic device and connect to a communication line for receiving the frame transmitted to the own device on the basis of the identifier in the frame comprises: a CPU for executing a program which controls operation of the random generation device; first memory for storing storage data generated by the CPU by executing the program; arithmetic specification information acquisition unit which receives the frame transmitted by the plurality of electronic control devices through the communication line and acquires arithmetic specification information of a prescribed field in the frame in a prescribed period; and an address generation unit which generates an access destination address by calculating the acquired arithmetic specification information. The CPU reads the storage data of the access destination address from the first memory and generates random numbers. |
