<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a thermoplastic resin film of which side edge is cut, at a good yield ratio. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, molten thermoplastic resin is extruded from a die 3 to form a film shape and is brought into contact with at least one cooling roll 4, so as to obtain a film-shaped molded body 11. Then, the film-shaped molded body 11 is made to pass between an upper round blade 5a and a lower round blade 5b which are disposed to pair up vertically, and the side edge of the film-shaped molded body 11 is cut, so as to produce the thermoplastic resin film 12.
