The present invention relates to a fermented food product for improving a bowel function and treating constipation, and a preparation method thereof, and more specifically, to a preparation method of a fermented food product for improving a bowel function and treating constipation, wherein the method comprises the following: a first process in which herbal medicine powder and glasswort powder are placed in a bag and boiled in drinking water; a second process in which a fermentation strain is added to the drinking water in which the bag of herbal medicine powder and glasswort powder were boiled, and the mixture is fermented at a temperature of 20-50°C; a third process in which a fermented solid matter from the second process is mixed with psyllium husk powder and made into dough with a fermented liquid portion from the second process; and a fourth process in which the dough mixture is formulated into pills or tablets and then dried, or formulated into a powder form. |
