PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system that can control a printer without requiring a driver depending on the environment of a computer.SOLUTION: A client terminal 2 includes: a web page acquisition unit 51 that acquires, from a web application server 1, a web page 21 having a script 23 for print control incorporated therein, which operates on a web browser 47 to perform print control on the web page 21; a drawing processing unit 52 that draws a result of input operation on the web page 21 in a drawing area; a print data creating unit 53 that creates print data from image data of the drawing area according to the script 23 for print control with print operation on the web page 21 as a trigger; and a print data transmission unit 54 that transmits the print data to a printer 3 according to the script 23 for print control, where the printer 3 includes a print data reception unit 61 that receives print data, and a print control unit 62 that controls print processing on the basis of the print data. |
