<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure in removing a material deposited on a rotating member in an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The removing device 400 includes a cleaning blade 420 and a removing member 430. The removing device 400 moves an intermediate transfer belt 300 by use of a moving member 451 from a state (second state) where a side 423 of the cleaning blade 420 is in contact with an outer periphery surface 301 of the intermediate transfer belt 300 to a state (first state) where a contact area 435 of the removing member 430 is in contact with the outer periphery surface 301. The removing device 400 removes, in the first state, PTFE particles exposed from the outer periphery surface 301 when the intermediate transfer belt 300 is mounted for the first time, and removes, in the second state, toner or the like to be deposited on the outer periphery surface 301 when an image is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
