A heating cooker cooks an object by heating the object from the upper and lower surfaces, so that the cooking time is shortened and the power consumption is reduced. The heating cooker comprises a heating chamber (2), a placing disc (19) fastened in a manner of dividing the heating chamber up and down and in which the heated objects are placed; upper surface heating units (tube heater (14a,14b,14c) for heating the upper surface of the placing disc (19); lower surface heating units(a microwave absorbing heating element(7),an antenna driving part (12), an antenna (13), a magnetic control tube (23), a wave guide tube (30)) for heating the lower surface side of the placing disc (19); an upper heating control part (24) for controlling the upper surface heating unit; and a lower part heating controlling part (11) for controlling the magnetic control tube (23). By intensively heating the placed part of the heated object from the upper and lower directions simultaneously, the heated object can be heated in a short time, so that the cooking time can be shortened and the power consumption can be reduced. |
