The present invention provides a scheduler computing device for a distributed computing system capable of solving large-scale computational problems at a fast rate. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the scheduler computing device is configured to store one or more computing tasks. A computing task is executed by data nodes in a distributed computing system. The distributed computing system includes one or more data nodes. Each data node includes a central processor and an intelligent storage device. The intelligent storage device includes: a computing task memory including a control unit processor and a memory; and a processor implemented to allocate the computing tasks executed either by the central processor of the data node or the intelligent storage device of the data node based at least partially on the capacity required for the data related to the computing tasks.
