The present invention relates to a mobile communications terminal for the deaf which comprises: a communications unit for transceiving text data and voice data; a memory for storing a text-to-speech (TTS) program (STT) and a calling application for the deaf; a display unit for displaying a phone chatting screen; and a control unit for displaying the phone chatting screen through the display unit by operating the phone application for the deaf when a call with other communications terminals through the communications unit is started, and transmitting the text data to the other mobile communications terminals by converting the text data with a preset voice when the text data is inputted through the phone chatting screen.
