A blackboard eraser and chalk dust collector comprising: a tubular casing made from suitable plastic material having front and rear portions; a front portion having a protruding section comprising an erasing member having a DC motor secured inside the front portion, a connecting rod attached to the motor, a frame secured at one end of the connecting rod, a holder provided with an erasing felt removably mounted to the frame; a rear portion having a plurality of apertures and an elongated section; said elongated section is provided with a hole, a power switch inserted to the hole; said rear portion comprising chalk dust collecting chamber having a DC suction motor securely mounted inside the rear portion, an elongated rod attached to DC suction motor, a suction fan secured to the rod, a chalk dust filter screen detachably held within the rear portion, a battery compartment detachably mounted to the rear portion, a pair of rechargeable batteries disposed inside the battery compartment, a covering plate provided with a handle detachably held to the battery compartment, and a female jack fixedly attached to the covering plate to facilitate battery charging; the elongated section of the rear portion is inserted to the protruding section of the front portion forming a tubular intermediate handle. |
