<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fluctuation of a cutting time by a cutter having a rotating blade which moves in a width direction of recording paper. <P>SOLUTION: Standby position sensors 18a, 18b for detecting a standby position of the rotating blade 11 are arranged on both right and left sides on an outer side of the width direction of the recording paper. An intermediate position sensor 19 for detecting a moving position of the rotating blade 11 is arranged in the middle of these standby position sensors 18a, 18b. A halfway moving time T from when the rotating blade 11 cutting the recording paper is detected by either of the standby position sensors 18a, 18b until when it is detected by the intermediate position sensor 19 is measured. Based on deviation from a reference value T<SB POS="POST">0</SB>of the measured halfway moving time T, a moving speed of the rotating blade 11 after detected by the intermediate position sensor 19 is controlled so as to suppress the fluctuation of the entire moving time of the rotating blade 11. Thereby, the fluctuation of the cutting time by the cutter 10 having the rotating blade 11 moving in the width direction of the recording paper can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
