1. A laser beam generating device, comprising:
a housing having at least three openings for emitting light beams; and a laser light generator disposed in the housing and operable to generate three output beams, the laser light generator includes
a light source projecting light along an optical axis toward a beamsplitter, anda collimating lens interposed on the optical axis between the light source and the beamsplitter, wherein the beamsplitter has two incident surfaces orientated at forty-five degrees in relation to the optical axis, such that a first portion of the light from the light source is incident on a first surface of the two incident surfaces and reflected by the first surface as a first output beam in a first direction orthogonal to the optical axis and a second portion of the light from the light source is incident on a second surface of the two incident surfaces and reflected by the second surface as a second output beam in a second direction opposite the first direction, whereinthe light source is arranged in relation to the beamsplitter such that a third portion of the light from the light source bypasses the beamsplitter and forms a third output beam projected parallel to the optical axis. |
