A resilient, laminated, floor-covering element or material comprises an upper layer of hard vinyl resin material or hard fibre board united, e.g. by gluing, to a lower layer of a soft, elastically yielding, synthetic plastic foam material. The upper layer may comprise alternate laminations of hard vinyl resin and of hard fibre board. A layer of hard fibre board may be united to the lower, exposed surface of the synthetic plastic foam material. The hard vinyl resin upper layer may be provided with intersecting grooves as described in Specification 731,748, [Group X].</p> |
