According to the present invention, a video signal processing method configures a palette map for a current block encoded in a palette mode; induces a palette index in accordance with a predetermined scanning order by a unit of a sample of the current block; and restores each sample of the current block using a palette entry having a map index of the same value as the palette index induced from the palette map. As such, the method is able to increase a prediction or a restoration efficiency of a target block to be encoded/decoded based on the palette mode.
