NOVEL EDWARDSIELLA TARDA BACTERIOPHAGE EDW-TAP-1 AND ITS USE FOR PREVENTING PROLIFERATION OF EDWARDSIELLA TARDA

The present invention relates to a Myoviridae bacteriophage Edw-TAP-1 (Accession No. KCTC 12740BP) which is derived from the nature, includes a genome represented by sequence number 1, and has capability of specifically killing Edwardsiella tarda bacteria. The present invention further relates to a method for killing Edwardsiella tarda bacteria and preventing infection by Edwardsiella tarda bacteria using a composition containing the bacteriophage as an active ingredient.
