摘要 |
A circuit breaker includes: a first arc-extinguishing chamber and a second arc-extinguishing chamber that interrupt a current by opening contact points and extinguish an arc during the current is being interrupted; and a connection unit that connects the first arc-extinguishing chamber and the second arc-extinguishing chamber to each other. The first arc-extinguishing chamber and the second arc-extinguishing chamber are connected to the connection unit in such a manner that shaft lines of the arc-extinguishing chambers form an angle of substantially 90 degrees. The first arc-extinguishing chamber is arranged on a side of the connection unit in such a manner that the shaft line thereof is substantially horizontal, and the second arc-extinguishing chamber is arranged on an upper side of the connection unit in such a manner that the shaft line thereof is substantially vertical. |

1. A circuit breaker comprising:
a first arc-extinguishing part including at least one arc-extinguishing chamber and a second arc-extinguishing part including at least one arc-extinguishing chamber, all of the arc-extinguishing chambers being connected serially and each of the arc-extinguishing chambers interrupting a current by simultaneously opening contact points within each of the arc-extinguishing chambers to extinguish an arc while the current is being interrupted in each arc-extinguishing chamber; a connection unit that connects the first arc-extinguishing part and the second arc-extinguishing part to each other, and a hermetic tank in which the first arc-extinguishing part, the second arc-extinguishing part, and the connection unit are accommodated, wherein the first arc-extinguishing part and the second arc-extinguishing part are connected to the connection unit in such a manner that shaft lines of the first arc-extinguishing part and the second arc-extinguishing part form an angle of substantially 90 degrees, wherein the first arc-extinguishing part is arranged on a side of the connection unit in such a manner that the shaft line thereof is substantially horizontal, and the second arc-extinguishing part is arranged on an upper side of the connection unit in such a manner that the shaft line thereof is substantially vertical. |
