1. An image capture apparatus, comprising:
an image sensor in which a plurality of types of pixels including an imaging pixel and a focusing pixel is arranged; a flaw detection circuit configured to detect a defective pixel based on a pixel value of each pixel in the image sensor; and flaw information generation circuit configured to output first information indicating the defective pixel based on a detecting result from the flaw detection circuit and second information indicating a position of the focusing pixel in the image sensor, wherein the flaw information generation circuit outputs the first information according to the defective pixel detected by the flaw detection circuit, in a case where a position of the defective pixel detected by the flaw detection circuit doesn't match the position of the focusing pixel indicated by the second information, and doesn't output the first information according to the defective pixel detected by the flaw detection circuit, in a case where the position of the defective pixel detected by the flaw detection circuit matches the position of the focusing pixel indicated by the second information.
