The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of easily controlling a large amount of scroll moving distances, and a control method thereof. Specifically, the present invention relates to a mobile terminal which comprises: a touch screen; and a control unit for controlling the touch screen to output a content screen, receiving a touch input at a first position on the touch screen, and scrolling and moving the content screen to a certain scroll distance when the touch input is released at a second position after maintaining the touch input for a certain period of time or longer. The certain scroll distance is determined on the basis of the first and second positions. |
