COOPERATIVE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELECTING RELAY USING THEREOF

The present invention relates to a cooperative communication system and a relay terminal selection method using the same. According to the present invention, the relay terminal selection method using the cooperative communication system including a transmission terminal, a reception terminal, and a plurality of relay terminals comprises: a step in which the transmission terminal transmits a signal to one or more first relay terminals for a first time slot; a step in which the first relay terminal transmits channel information and a signal regarding a path with the transmission terminal to one or more second relay terminals or the reception terminal for a second time slot; and a step in which a N^th (N is integer more than 2) relay terminal channel information and a signal regarding a path having the best channel state among channel information corresponding to one or more channel information passing through the transmission terminal and first to N^th relay terminal for (N+1)^th time slot. The reception terminal provides a relay terminal selection method for selecting a transmission path by using an average size value of channel information which is obtained in the right of the number of relay terminals which form multiple paths received from each of the relay terminals. According to the method as above, the reliability of a signal can be increased since a path which is suitable to a current communication environment can be formed by adaptively selecting the relay terminal according to the channel state in multi-hop cooperative communication using the relay terminal.
