The present invention relates to an ultrasound transducer manufactured using magnetic force and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, created is a magnetic deposition layer for each chip that comprises an ultrasound array transducer to replace various adhesives, such as epoxy, that are used to create layered structures of conventional ultrasound transducers. The generated magnetic deposition layers can be formed at one or both surfaces of each chip in order to be included in a sufficient range of a magnetic field, according to the designed structure of ultrasound transducer and the thickness of each chip, and by adjusting the thickness of the magnetic deposited layers, the range of the magnetic field and the strength of connection can be adjusted to form the layered structure of the ultrasound transducer. Regarding the completed layered structure of the ultrasound array transducer, the layered structure is fixed by using a sound lens, and the thickness of the sound lens includes part of a sound absorbing layer from the upper part of a matching layer, so that the layered structure is fixed by using strong stress of the sound lens material. Based on the provided method for manufacturing the ultrasound transducer using the magnetic force of the present invention, detachment or attachment of each chip and material exchange are possible at any time during the manufacturing process, and chip damage, injection of a foreign body and air layer formation which occur during conventional adhesion of layered structure using epoxy, etc., can be prevented in advance, thereby reducing time and costs in an ultrasound transducer manufacturing process and improving the performance of the ultrasound array transducer. |
