The present invention relates to a method for preparing glycoprotein from jellyfish and a cosmetic composition comprising the glycoprotein. More particularly, the method of the present invention prepares glycoprotein by extracting jellyfish while increasing generation rate of glycoprotein using shellfish shell powder in an extraction process, and prepares glycoprotein having excellent functions of moisturizing skin, alleviating skin inflammation, and promoting cell restoration. The present invention relates to a technique of using the glycoprotein obtained according to the present invention to manufacture cosmetic products for alleviating skin conditions.
