PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for making a non-uniformity correction taking account of a difference between density measurement values before and after drying for each area or each nozzle, and also to provide a program, and an ink jet recording apparatus.SOLUTION: Using an ink jet head in which nozzles are arranged in a main scanning direction, non-uniform-density measurement image is formed on a recording medium in a single pass system. A density measurement value for each set gradation value is obtained from the non-uniform-density measurement image before drying. Using a density measurement conversion value set for each area in the main scanning direction, the obtained density measurement value is converted into a converted density measurement value corresponding to a density measurement value after drying. Using this converted density measurement value, the foregoing problem is solved by an image processing method that derives a new non-uniform correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
