PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently examining the presence or absence of Salmonella, enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC), and Shigella.SOLUTION: The efficiency of a screening method for a carrier with a multiplex PCR method can be increased by using the multiplex PCR method, in which the positive rate (positive number/all number of specimens) is 0.5% or less, as a method for examining the presence or absence of Salmonella, enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and Shigella in a healthy person. Further, upon trying to increasing the efficiency of the screening, we found out that a detection method using a multiplex PCR from pool feces and a melting profile analysis is effective.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
