PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric excellent in stretchability, formation, and mechanical properties.SOLUTION: A staple fiber nonwoven fabric is obtained by heat-bonding base staple fibers each other owing to heat-bonding component. The base fiber has a latent crimping property that develops crimping by heat treatment. Composite staple fibers are obtained by eliciting the latent crimping property to develop crimping. The heat-bonding component is a melted binder fiber that comprises two components which are melted to become heat-bonding components. A mass ratio of the base fiber to the heat-bonding component is 90/10 to 80/20. The nonwoven fabric has a stress of 40 N or less when elongated by 50%, elongation elastic modulus of 20% or less, and elongation recovery ratio of 50% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
