PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification apparatus the disinfecting and deodorizing performance of which can be enhanced.SOLUTION: An air purification apparatus includes a main body case 1 having an air intake port 2 and an air blowoff port 3. An air purifying means 5, an air flow passage 12 for communicating the air intake port 2 with the air blowoff port 3 while interposing the air purifying means 5 therebetween, and an air sending means 4 for sending air from the air intake port 2 to the air flow passage 12 are arranged in the main body case 1. The air purifying means 5 has: a tray 6 for storing water; an electrolytic unit 8 for generating electrolytic water from the stored water in the tray 6; and a filter part 9 which is formed into a hollow cylindrical shape, made rotatable, and arranged so that a part of the filter part 9 is immersed in the electrolytic water so that the filter part 9 is rotated at such a rotational speed that the relative humidity becomes saturated on the downstream side of the filter part 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
