PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for heavy load capable of improving water discharging property and uneven wear resistance performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire for heavy load has a plurality of main grooves 3 and a plurality of lateral grooves provided on a tread part 2 and, thereby, allows a plurality of blocks to be partitioned. Therein, the main grooves 3 contain a pair of crown main grooves 3 and a pair of shoulder main grooves 5, lateral grooves contain a plurality of middle lateral grooves 12 which partition a middle block 16 having a tread S formed in an approximately hexagonal shape between crown main grooves 4 and the shoulder main grooves 5, a middle shallow groove 21 which perfectly traverses the tread S is disposed on the middle block 16, the middle shallow groove 21 contains a center part 21a inclined in the direction reverse to the middle lateral groove 12 and both edge parts 21b bent from the center part 21a on both sides of the center part 21a, and at least one side of both edge parts 21b contains an enlarged width part 21c in which a groove width is enlarged toward the outer side of the middle block 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
